Mandolin!

I’d forgotten how much I love the mandolin, which is hard to do since I own two of them. But I unpacked one of them a day or two ago and got back to working on it. I’m quite pleased I haven’t forgotten everything of the little I knew.
Of course I had to try all my recording gear on it. I don’t have pickups on either mandolin so I recorded the following with my el cheap condenser microphone. There’s background noise to be sure as I didn’t even bother to close my room off, but hey, I just wondered what it would sound like. Now I know:

I’m playing both the lead and the rhythm mando parts. The guitar is a jam track except from TrueFire.
Better watch out, or I’ll bring out my banjo next time…I’m even worse on that instrument.
